Setup

YOU’RE ALMOST HALFWAY THERE.😮‍💨

You’ve been taught since you were a kid to take this to school:

notebook, student’s book, pencil case

That’s it.
But we live in the 21st century now. We also have cell phones or maybe tablets, laptops and other gadgets. So why take just the few things we mentioned as educational tools?

Analog

There’s nothing wrong with an analogue system – that is, taking notes with a pencil on paper.

Remember, though, that some half-torn notebook in a salad edition isn’t enough. Trust me, it’ll save you hours of learning for nothing (I bet).
So get ready:

  • a good pen and a different coloured marker
  • a good notebook (different for each subject)

If you’re comfortable with this and don’t want to change anything, skip straight to the next chapter of Capture.

digital

But if you want…

  • notes from anywhere accessible online
  • faster, more legible writing
  • to embed a presentation, pdf (*or a copy of someone else’s notes 👀)

…then try digital note-taking. In short, you’ll need this:

  • tablet/notebook, stylus (pencil), keyboard
  • a note-taking app (OneNote is the best – 100% try it, or Goodnotes)

But if that’s good enough for you, go to the next video.
